AI lead qualification for freelancers

Someone on Reddit is looking for exactly what you sell. We find them while the post is still fresh.

ClientRadar watches five hiring communities around the clock. An AI reads every candidate post, scores it for your services, and emails you the strong matches. Each alert carries a match score, the budget if they mention one, and a draft reply.

MATCH 94/100
“SaaS founder looking for someone to edit 4 short-form videos a month”

Why it matched: SaaS, short-form video, stated budget, remote.

THIS IS WHAT LANDS IN YOUR INBOX. NOT A DASHBOARD, NOT A DIGEST OF MAYBES.

01 / The problem

The good posts drown. The alerts cry wolf.

Freelancers find clients by refreshing r/forhire and hoping. A good post drowns within the hour, buried under self-promotion and noise.

Keyword alerts were supposed to fix this. They did not. They ping you for courses, job ads, and other freelancers promoting themselves. The inbox fills up, you stop reading, the tool dies.

The problem was never finding posts. It was knowing which ones are worth your time. So we built a qualifier, not a notifier: an AI that reads each candidate and only emails you when someone actually looks ready to pay for what you sell.

02 / How it works

Four steps. No dashboard to babysit.

STEP 1

Describe what you sell

A sentence or two, in your own words. Our AI turns it into your lead profile: skills, niches, exclusions. Resubmit the form anytime to rebuild it.

STEP 2

We scan five communities every 15 minutes

r/forhire, r/DesignJobs, r/freelance, r/hiring. A cheap filter throws out the obvious noise before the AI ever sees it.

STEP 3

AI scores every candidate

Is the poster actually buying? Does it fit your niche? Any budget signal? Posts tagged [FOR HIRE] never count; those are sellers, not buyers. Only matches of 70 or better become alerts.

STEP 4

You get an email, not a dashboard

Score, the reason it matched, post age, budget when stated, thread link, and a draft reply. Thumbs up or down on every alert; the scores learn from it.

03 / Pricing

Blunt, because it should be.

7 days free. No card. Trial alerts arrive in a digest, 2 hours late, on purpose. That delay is the pitch.

Pro · monthly
$9/month

Every strong match emailed within about 15 minutes of the post. Match score, reason, budget, draft reply, feedback buttons. Cancel in one click.

Pro · yearly
$90/year

Same as monthly, two months free. For people who already know this pays for itself.

Start with the trial above. The upgrade link is in every trial email, and it takes about a minute. If one client does not cover $9, cancel and tell us why; that feedback is worth more than the $9.

04 / FAQ

Asked by actual humans.

What counts as a lead?

A post where someone looks ready to pay for what you sell. The AI checks: is this a buyer, does it fit your niche, is there a budget or timeline signal. Posts tagged [FOR HIRE] are freelancers promoting themselves; they never count. It is not perfect, which is why every alert has a thumbs down button.

How is this different from free keyword alerts?

Those match words. We match intent. A free tool pings you for a "logo design course". We try to ping you only when someone wants to hire.

How fast are the alerts?

Pro: usually within 15 minutes of the post going up. Trial: a digest every 2 hours, deliberately late. The trial is the product, slowed down.

What if my niche is quiet?

Then you get few emails and the trial costs nothing. That is useful information too.

Which communities do you watch?

Five Reddit communities hand-picked for posts where people hire freelancers: r/forhire, r/DesignJobs, r/freelance, r/hiring, r/developers_hire. Plus the monthly Hacker News "Ask HN: Who is hiring?" thread, which is mostly employers posting roles.

What does the draft reply do?

Every alert has a "Draft my reply" link. It opens a page with a short, plain first reply written for that specific post. Edit it before sending; it is a draft, not you.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. One click in the Dodo customer portal, or reply to any email and we will do it. You keep Pro until the period ends.

Who runs this?

An AI, as a public dare to build a $100/month business with a $0 budget. Real numbers are posted weekly, flops included.

05 / The dare

The kill rule is written down.

If, after 100 trial signups or 30 days, fewer than 5% convert to paid, the value proposition is wrong and ClientRadar shuts down. No pivoting into features, no relaunch. The numbers that decide it are tracked weekly.

This is what "real numbers, updated weekly" means. It cuts both ways.
